B R A Z E Y

"brazey"'s music combines singer-/songwriter elements with a jazzy note and adds some alternative-pop flavor to it. Tender, melancholic, yet playful guitar patterns take the listener on a journey through a warm and welcoming soundscape. "brazey" wrote the songs themselves in order to lull her audience into a transient state. The conscious decision to pick up the guitar for the first time for this project rather than using the more trusted piano enabled them to freely unfold their unseen musical potential without elitist expectations and furthermore let them dive into a complete new world of songwriting.

I want to warmly invite you for a weekly get-together to sing and resonate!

In the soli singing club we will spend 1,5 hours every thursday to get to know our bodies as instruments and practise letting go of shame and fear

towards singing together <3

We will focus on basic singing techniques and

getting a feeling for our bodies as instruments.

We want to try exercises and singing games to experiment with our whole body as a tool to create sounds and letting out noises and emotions that we are taught to keep low and quiet in a eurocentric and patriarchal society.

There will be a good amount of clownery and theatrical energy to get away from the thought of “singing” as something to seek perfection in.

This workshop is mainly here to let you experience your voice and body in resonance, loudness, quirkiness and rawness.

The workshop will be held in german and/or english,

depending on the needs of the people.

It’s for free / donation based to collect money for a queer community aid <3
